The
Aquadisco, this new glass bottom boat, just opened for business from Cook's Bay.
This
type of tourist excursion makes it possible to discover the underwater scenery of
the lagoons of the marvelous sister island of Moorea safely and without getting wet. Built
locally in aluminum, this 50ft boat hosts a dozen of thrill seekers to encounter
the water scenery in his glass bubble below the water line. Ideal for shooting pictures,

Memories of the "Bounty"
Exactly
217 years ago, the Bounty mutineers set their ship on fire at the foot of the cliffs
of Pitcairn Island to definitely erase their tracks.
In
Tahiti, some 200 descendants of Fletcher Christian, Warren, Buffett, Smith, Adams
or Young gather to commemorate the event. They
promised to meet next year on Pitcairn Island to celebrate the next anniversary.

story of the "Bounty"

since according to the authors, all the fishes presently inventoried in our waters
appear in photos in the book!

new regular flight to Rarotonga, the capital city of the Cook Islands starting
in April, it is aboard ATR 72 that many tourists will be able to discover the delights
of this "other Polynesia" less than 1,500 km (900 miles) from Papeete.
