Houses are rare in the neighborhood, and untouched nature is everywhere waiting for you. It is, by the way, in this surrounding that historical reconstitution films about Polynesia are regularly shot (Namely "The Bounty" in 1984 with Mel Gibson, etc). The largest private yachts anchor frequently not far from the Villa, as "Robinson's Cove" offers complete tranquility and an excellent shelter, it did for Captain Cook who discovered the bay and was the first to moor there in 1777; nothing has changed since that time! In the Villa, all modern comfort is nevertheless available with a touch of tropical exoticism. ►FIGARO Magazine falls in love (March 8, 2008): "Mooring in Opunohu bay in Moorea, intensely beautiful, festooned with sharp-edged mountains. An outstanding memory for all the navigators and visitors who have been there." ►French singer and yachtsman Antoine's thoughts about Moorea: "Moorea, is somewhat like an untouched version of Tahiti, spectacular mountains and bays, much more white sand beaches than around Tahiti, mountain sides are almost totally preserved."
